Dimlit is a small, no-account listening site. This page explains what happens when you visit and use it.

Information Dimlit stores

Dimlit does not ask you to create an account or enter your name, email address, or other profile details. The site saves your coins, unlocked items, selected scene, theme, overlay, and sound levels in your browser's local storage so your choices can be there when you return. This information stays in that browser; Dimlit's app code does not send it to a Dimlit account or server. You can remove it by clearing this site's stored data in your browser settings. If you do, saved choices and coins will be lost.

Sound is generated in your browser after you start a scene. The visual scenes are drawn or displayed in your browser. Dimlit does not need microphone access, location access, or uploaded audio to provide them.

Basic connection information

When you visit a website, your browser has to send a request to the service hosting it. The hosting provider may process connection details such as your IP address, browser and device information, requested page, and request time to deliver the site, maintain security, and troubleshoot service issues. The specific provider and its retention practices depend on the hosting setup in use.

Fonts and third-party services

Dimlit currently loads typefaces from Google Fonts. Your browser connects to Google's servers to request those font files, and Google may receive technical information such as your IP address and browser details as part of that request. See Google's Privacy Policy for details.

Dimlit does not currently use Google Analytics or other audience-measurement scripts. The listening page includes marked spaces for Google AdSense ads.

Advertising

When Google AdSense ads are displayed, Google and its partners may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses, or other identifiers to serve and measure ads, prevent fraud, limit repeated ads, and, where enabled and permitted, personalize advertising. Third parties may place or read cookies in your browser or use similar technologies when ads are served. Those technologies and data handling are controlled by the relevant providers and your settings.

You can review or change Google's advertising settings at Google Ads Settings. Learn more about how Google uses data when you use partner sites. This policy should be revised if Dimlit adds other advertising services or changes how ads are configured.

Cookies and browser choices

Dimlit's own app currently uses browser local storage for preferences and does not set its own cookies. Google Fonts, the hosting provider, and Google AdSense may use cookies or similar technologies under their own practices. You can adjust cookie controls in your browser; blocking some third-party requests may affect how fonts or ads appear.

Changes to this policy

This policy may change as Dimlit's hosting or features change. The date at the top will be updated when the policy is revised. The version published on this page applies to visits from that date onward.

This policy describes Dimlit's current setup, including Google AdSense placements. Review and update it when the hosting provider, analytics, or advertising services change.
